On October 22nd 2010, Honda recalled few Honda Odyssey vehicles, which were manufactured in 2007 model year, due to problems associated with the brakes. Due to these braking problems, the vehicle could not be stopped suddenly by the driver. Dealers were instructed to get the problem solved. In this recall, nearly 471820 defective units participated and were rectified later.

Recall 2
On March 16th 2010, Honda recalled 2007 Honda Odyssey due to issues in the air modular pump. Air cold pump could enter the VSA modular pump in an initial self-check course, which occurs shortly each time after the engine is started. Due to this problem, the dashboard controls of this vehicle could not work properly. Sometimes, driver could be confused about the improper control working thus leading to a serious crash. Nearly 412000 defective units participated in this recall and were rectified.
