The 2008 Honda Odyssey came with a modified exterior as well as revamped interior styling. It was a compact car offered in 4 different versions; Touring, EX, EX-L and LX. The EX and LX had a powerful V6 engine that produced 244 hp, whereas the same engine in Touring and EX-L models produced 241 hp. It was designed using Honda’s Variable Cylinder Management system.

The safety features in 2008 Honda Odyssey were front side air bags, curtain side air bags, traction control, antiskid system and an advanced ABS. The features exclusive to LX were folding split seats in 2nd and 3rd row, which were floor-well adjustable, and so were the power sliding side doors too.
Touring, EX-L and EX models had a jump seat that was movable and could transit between the 2nd and 3rd row for obtaining 8-passenger capacity.

The additional features such as tri-zone climate control, Honda’s Active Noise Control and leather upholstery were also offered in 2008 Honda Odyssey. The optional features in touring model include run-flat tires, power adjustable pedals, rear and front obstacle detection and a power lift gate. A rearview camera was available along with rearview mirror in the top-end trim as well.

The key benefits of the 2008 Honda Odyssey were enhanced cargo/passenger room and convenient entry/exit, whereas the disadvantages were climate and audio control.
